arc is a lavish publication dedicated to the regeneration of Sunderland, the North East town facing up to many of the issues confronting industrial cities across the UK. Its urban regeneration company Sunderland arc is guiding a £1.3 billion regeneration programme, in tandem with partners including English Partnerships, the regional development agency One NorthEast, Sunderland City Council, agencies such as Tyne Wear Partnership and in close consultation with local residents and businesses. Sunderland arc aims to use over £300 million of public sector investment to lever around £1 billion of investment from private sources.
arc magazine describes the specific development opportunities planned across Sunderland arc’s 542 hectare regeneration area, including 323 hectares of brownfield development sites. It presents interviews with the political and commercial, decision makers behind the programme and essential data for developers, investors and consultants.
